Murrieta Police Seek Man Suspected Of Stealing Costco Shopper's Wallet
Surveillance images were released in the hopes that someone recognizes the suspect.

MURRIETA, CA — Over the weekend, Murrieta police released surveillance images of a man suspected of stealing a Costco shopper's wallet and then attempting to use the victim's bank cards.
Police said that around 1 p.m. July 5, the suspect stole a shopper's wallet while the victim was at the Murrieta Costco, located at 35875 Warm Springs Parkway.
Costco’s loss prevention specialists used their "state-of-the-art surveillance system" to capture the suspect's image, police said. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man of medium build, between 30 and 40 years old.

After the alleged theft, the suspect went to multiple Murrieta businesses and attempted to make several large purchases using the victim’s bank cards. The transactions were all declined because the victim had already canceled the cards, according to police.
