Mystery Disappearance Of Riverside County Woman: Public's Help Sought

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Questions surrounding the two-year disappearance in Riverside County of Danielle Rosalie Rico continued Tuesday with a public plea from the sheriff's department.
Rico, who would now be 41 years old, vanished Aug. 21, 2022, from the Hemet area. Investigators are still looking for her but believe she may have met with foul play.

"Central Homicide Unit investigators have continued to investigate this case and Rico remains missing; ... the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are still unknown and suspicious," the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday.

Rico was 39 when she went missing. At the time, she was described as a 5-foot-2-inch-tall Hispanic woman weighing 140 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
She has a scar on her left forearm, a deformity to her left wrist area, and a back tattoo depicting a large fairy sitting on a mushroom. She also has children's feet tattooed on one of her shoulders and other unknown tattoos on both wrists. She is known to wear rings on all of her fingers, according to a missing person report issued by the California Attorney General's office.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance with the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sheriff's Investigator D. Brown at 951–955–2195 or by email. Tipsters can also submit information through the sheriff’s online tip portal.
