Shooting At MoVal Apartment Complex Yields 1 Arrest: Cops
Multiple gunshots were reported at an apartment complex in Moreno Valley, leaving a front door struck by gunfire.

MORENO VALLEY, CA — A 33-year-old man was arrested for allegedly firing multiple gunshots inside a residence in Moreno Valley.
Detrich Harrison of Moreno Valley was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on Saturday on suspicion of shooting at an inhabited building and attempted murder, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported. He was being held on $1 million bail.
Deputies from the sheriff's Moreno Valley station responded to a call of multiple gunshots at around 1 a.m. Saturday in the area of Bay Avenue and Heacock Street. Upon their arrival, they learned that witnesses reported an altercation between five individuals, where Harrison was allegedly the sole gunman. The gunshots carried through the living room window and out through the living room door of an apartment complex, Sgt. Alfredo Medina said.

No one was injured and the suspect fled the scene.
During the course of their investigation, deputies were able to obtain evidence of the shooting and the suspect's vehicle description, Medina said.

Deputies served a search warrant at Harrison's residence and he was later arrested.
