2 Injured In Apparent Gang-Related Napa Shooting, Police Say
The suspect or suspects were still outstanding Thursday as the investigation continued.
NAPA, CA β Two teen boys were injured in what appeared to be a gang-related shooting Wednesday night in Napa, police said.
Officers responded at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday to reports from multiple 911 callers who heard gunshots in the 3000 block of Browns Valley Road near Charter Oaks Apartments, Napa police Sgt. Omar Salem said in a news release.
Officers received a subsequent 911 call from two shooting victims β an 18-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy β who drove away from the scene, Salem said. Both were struck by gunfire and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives and officers later recovered multiple shell casings from the scene near Charter Oak Apartments.
Following an initial investigation, police believe the incident was gang-related.

The suspect or suspects responsible for the shooting were still outstanding Thursday afternoon.
Police said any community member who witnessed the incident or has video surveillance, still images or information related to the case or the identity of the suspects and has not yet been interviewed by the Napa Police Department should contact Napa Police SEU Detective Andy Oros at aoros@cityofnapa.org.
