Advisory: Napa State Hospital to Test Emergency Air Horns Thursday Afternoon
It's only a drill: Napa State Hospital says it will test its emergency air horns at 2 p.m. Thursday.

NAPA, CA -- If you repeatedly hear a loud horn going off Thursday afternoon, there's probably no need to worry -- it's only a test.
The Department of State Hospitals-Napa better known as Napa State Hospital, says it plans to test its emergency air horns at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 4. The horns are used to warn staff and tenants at the psychiatric hospital in the event of an armed intruder.
The test is expected to produce about 16 horn blasts in under an hour, according to the hospital.
