Sonoma County Auto Giant Expands Footprint In Napa (patch.com) — Napa residents will see a major change at the local Ford dealership as Sonoma County-based Hansel Auto Group takes over the Napa Ford property on Soscol Avenue. The acquisition, part of a $19.1 million deal following the prior owner’s bankruptcy filing, expands Hansel’s presence in Napa County and strengthens its role in the region’s auto market.

Funded largely by donors in wealthy Napa, the Oregon-based program offers counseling, mindfulness, and outdoor activities, while local leaders work to scale it safely for hundreds more West Coast kids.
   

4. Napa Valley Vintners announces appointment to board of directors (pressdemocrat.com) — Napa Valley wine lovers may want to know that Relic Wine Cellars owner Schatzi Throckmorton has been elected chair of the Napa Valley Vintners board, helping guide the region’s wine industry. The new leadership team, including officers from several well-known local wineries, will focus on agricultural preservation, philanthropy, and advocacy for Napa Valley’s wine community.
