He did not get far, as other ACPD patrol cars blocked him in.

It is alleged that a 20-minute standoff ensued as Scott refused to comply with officers' orders to exit the car.

Napa County sheriff’s K9 Apollo soon arrived. Once Scott realized the police dog was ready to deploy if needed, he exited the vehicle and was detained.

It is alleged that Scott had drug paraphernalia and multiple suspected stolen items in the car with him.

He was arrested and booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections on suspicion of vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and driving under the influence of a controlled substance

Jail records showed Scott's bail was set at $25,000.
