Caritas, a California-based nonprofit, purchased the land directly and partnered with the City of Napa and the Napa Housing Authority, along with architects WHA, Inc.; general contractor, Midstate Construction; property managers, Birtcher Anderson & Davis Associates; and Land Concern for the landscaping.

"With the increasing number of households on fixed or limited incomes and with the scarcity of reliable, long-term, reasonably priced housing, Caritas Corp. endeavors to create vibrant communities where resident involvement and caring are priorities," Caritas Corp. said in a news release.
