Documented Gang Member Arrested In Napa
Inside Christian Moreno's vehicle, officers allegedly found a loaded .40-caliber Smith and Wesson handgun and Hydrocodone pills.

NAPA - Police arrested an alleged gang member and Napa resident last week after they found guns and prescription drugs during a search of his vehicle Wednesday evening.
Members of the Napa police's Special Enforcement Unit received a tip that 23-year-old Christian Leonardo Moreno, a documented gang member, was selling drugs and in possession of a gun, according to police.
After obtaining a search warrant, SEU officers observed Moreno, getting out of his vehicle Wednesday, around 5:25 p.m. in the 1700 block of Jefferson Street.

After searching him, officers found several Hydrocodone pills. Inside Moreno's vehicle, officers found a loaded .40-caliber Smith and Wesson handgun between the driverβs seat and center console, according to police.
Moreno admitted to officers the gun was his.

He was arrested on suspicion of being a criminal street gang member in possession of a loaded gun, being a felon in possession of ammunition, possessing a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance while armed with a loaded gun, being a felon in possession of a gun and participating in a criminal street gang, police said.
Moreno was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
