• Sonoma County Auto Giant Expands Footprint In Napa (patch.com) — Napa readers will see a major change at the local Ford dealership as Sonoma-based Hansel Auto Group acquires Napa Ford, expanding its footprint deeper into Napa County. The $19.1 million deal, including the Soscol Avenue property, follows the previous owner’s bankruptcy and folds the store into Hansel’s broader regional network of auto brands.
   

• Napa Valley College appoints winemaker to foundation board (pressdemocrat.com) — Napa Valley College has named winemaker and program alum Robert Hunt to the board of its Viticulture & Winery Technology Foundation, strengthening ties between the college and the local wine industry. With more than two decades of premium winemaking experience, Hunt says he’s eager to help develop the next generation of Napa-connected viticulture and enology professionals.
   

• Boys basketball rankings: Cardinal Newman back at No. 1 after win vs. Casa Grande (pressdemocrat.com) — Napa’s boys team notched a notable 39–37 win over Montgomery, ending a two-decade drought in that matchup and shaking up the North Bay hoops hierarchy. Cardinal Newman reclaimed the top ranking after winning Casa Grande’s Brett Callan Memorial Tournament, while Justin-Siena slipped to No. 4 after a loss to St. Patrick-St. Vincent.
