NAPA COUNTY, CA β€” A downed power line blocked Silverado Trail most of Friday, causing a several-hour closure of the roadway north of St. Helena in the Deer Park area.

Napa County Public Works issued an advisory at 7:26 a.m. Friday about the closure of Silverado Trail between Lodi Lane and Glass Mountain Lane.

A power outage started in that area around 12:30 a.m. Friday and was caused by a car hitting a power pole, PG&E Spokesperson Megan McFarland confirmed. Some 11 customers were impacted by the outage as crews worked into the afternoon hours to repair the damage.
