Updated: Downed Power Lines Close Howell Mountain Road

The road has now reopened, says the Napa County Public Works Department.

Work crews quickly removed some downed power lines on Howell Mountain Rd. this morning, and County officials now say the road has reopened.

NAPA - An advisory sent out by the Napa County Public Works Department warns local drivers that Howell Mountain Rd. has been temporarily closed.

Multiple power lines have apparently fallen across the roadway.

The Public Works Dept. says the road is closed from Pope Valley Rd to Angwin.

There is no estimated time for the road to reopen.
