Flying Over Napa, Lake Berryessa: Photos Of The Day

NAPA VALLEY, CA — Patch reader Claus Weisemann captured these images from the air Saturday while riding along with a friend in a small airplane on a flight from Sacramento to Petaluma and back.

"Even on this relatively short distance you can enjoy the variability of the California landscape," Claus wrote in an email to Patch. "The pictures show Lake Berryessa, Napa and the Central Valley looking south from a position near Davis."
