Lake County Resident Dies In Napa County Crash: CHP

NAPA VALLEY, CA — A Lake County woman died in a solo-vehicle crash near Calistoga on Wednesday night, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

Courtney Summers, 38, of Lakeport, was driving a 2009 Honda east on Petrified Forest Road east of Franz Valley School Road in unincorporated Napa County around 9 p.m. when the Honda left the road and struck a dirt embankment, CHP Officer Marc Renspurger said.

Summers died at the scene, Renspurger said.
