Legendary Singer-Musician Sheila E. To Share 'Stories Beyond The Spotlight' In Napa

Legendary singer-musician Sheila E. will perform a intimate show at Silo's Napa on April 9.

NAPA, CA -- Legendary performer and Bay Area native Sheila E., who's best known for her work with Prince in the 1980s and '90s, is scheduled to bring stories about her life and career to an intimate venue in Napa on April 9.

Sheila brings her stories to Silo’s Napa, a venue where the intimate setting puts all patrons within 30 feet of the stage. The event, which will be moderated by Roman Guzman, has very limited seating.

Sheila, who's full last name is Escovedo, was born in the East Bay and is the daughter of legendary percussionist Pete Escovedo and niece of rock musician Alejandro Escovedo. She also has numerous other relatives from the Bay Area and beyond in the music industry.

Sheila is world-class drummer, percussionist, singer, songwriter, entertainer, author, humanitarian, mentor, actress who has worked with some of the most influential musical acts of the past five decades, including Ringo Starr, Marvin Gaye, Beyoncé, Herbie Hancock, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, Gloria Estefan and George Duke.
