Lucy's Creates CBC Cocktail To 'Crush Breast Cancer'
Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser runs 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday in Yountville.
A new cocktail, the CBC, will help fight breast cancer at this weekend's 'Crush Breast Cancer' fundraiser in Yountville.
Lucy Restaurant & Bar, in the Bardessono Resort and Spa in Yountville, is donating 100 percent of the proceeds from sales of the cocktail to the Crush Breast Cancer fundraiser.
The event runs 11 a.m. To 7 p.m. Saturday at Sisters boutique in the V Marketplace on Washington Street.

Brady Wilkens, bartender at Lucy, created the CBC, which is made with Chopin Vodka, raspberry liqueur, pineapple guava syrup, grapefruit juice and cherry bitters. The cocktail can be ordered at the bar and from the regular cocktail menu.
"I wanted to feature the pineapple guava, since we grow them here in our garden," Wilkens said.
A recent visit to Lucy to sample the CBC also led to some strong suggestions for tasty bites to accompany the complex sweet and slightly tart cocktail.
Those included chickpea and edamame hummus with herb flatbread, and some incredibly moist and flavorful Maine Diver Scallops with sunchoke puree, roasted quince and caperberry pinenut brown butter.
"The scallops are my favorite," said Lucy Manager Guy Barstad.
