Napa Co. Suspect Leads Cops On High-Speed Pursuit: Report
A motorcyclist hit speeds of 100 mph while trying to evade police, The Napa Valley Register reports.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — A Napa County motorcyclist was arrested Tuesday night after leading authorities on a high-speed pursuit, The Napa Valley Register reports.
Richard Daniel Jacobo, 21 of American City, was arrested on suspicion of evading police (a felony) and driving without a license (a misdemeanor) and booked into Napa County jail, according to the report, which cites a California Highway Patrol spokesperson.
Jacobo hit speeds of to 100 mph during the pursuit, according to the report.

CHP officers tried to pull over Jacobo when they spotted him riding a 2002 Suzuki erratically on northbound Highway 29 in south Napa at around 10:23 p.m., the report said.
Jacobo initially began to yield but then sped away northbound on Highway 221, and then made a U-turn that returned him to Highway 29 towards American Canyon, the report said.

American Canyon Police took over the pursuit and stopped and detained Jacobo in Vallejo at about 10:30 p.m., the report said.
