Napa County Resident Named Napa CHP Commander
Capt. Michael McClellin is described as a proud Napa County resident who is passionate about serving and protecting our community.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — California Highway Patrol Capt. Michael McClellin has been named the new commander of the Napa CHP Office, which serves all of Napa County and the Sonoma Valley.
McClellin is described as a proud Napa County resident who is passionate about serving and protecting our community.
McClellin is a seasoned commander, having served in four command positions across the state and most recently as the commander of the CHP's Office of Air Operations in Sacramento.

While he is new to the commander position in Napa, he is not new to Napa CHP. McClellin worked as a Napa CHP patrol officer in 2002.
McClellin said his focus for Napa and Sonoma will be: “Community engagement and to ensure safe roadways for residents to live, work and travel in our counties.”
