Napa High-Speed Chase Suspect Caught With Help Of CHP
A CHP airplane was landing at Napa airport when the crew saw a Napa County sheriff's deputy chasing a vehicle on state Highway 29.
NAPA, CA — Sheriff's deputies arrested a man who led them on a chase reaching up to 110 mph in Napa on Saturday. A CHP airplane was landing at Napa airport at about 11:30 p.m. when the crew saw a Napa County sheriff's deputy chasing a vehicle on northbound state Highway 29 at North Kelley Road.
Instead of landing, the airplane began following the vehicle chase. The suspect made a u-turn near Oak Knoll Avenue and began driving southbound on the highway through Napa.
The driver lost control of the vehicle at Butler Bridge and struck a center divider, according to the CHP. The driver then left the vehicle and fled on foot before jumping over the edge of the bridge and falling nearly 10
feet.

The man then crossed below the bridge and ran down the hillside north of the bridge, according to the CHP.
Napa County sheriff's deputies were right behind him and they took him into custody, according to the CHP.
