Napa PD Recovers Stolen E-Bike After 'Joy Ride'
A man with an arrest warrant riding a stolen e-bike led officers on a brief chase Wednesday evening.
NAPA, CA — The Napa Police Department is hoping to find the owner of an e-bike that was recovered Wednesday evening from a man with a warrant out for his arrest.
Police said patrol officers spotted the man on a river trail Wednesday, attempting to evade them on a very brief "joy ride." After officers caught up with him, they determined he was riding a stolen, Aventon brand e-bike with a basket.
The department shared a photo of the bike on social media, asking the rightful owner to reach out to dispatch at 707-257-9223.
