Napa Valley-Opoly Game With Wine Country Sights Now On Board

Napa joins the list of other California towns. Board game players may travel through famed Wine Country valley without leaving home.

NAPA VALLEY -- The Wine Country has added another attraction with Napa Valley-Opoly, which is modeled after the legendary board game introduced in 1935. Players may meander through such well-known Napa sights as the Oxbow Public Market, Napa Valley Wine Train, the Napa Artwalk and Skyline Wilderness Park -- the latter offering sweeping views of this Northern California tourist mecca. Up the Valley to the north, Calistoga's Old Faithful Geyser is featured and of course wineries that make some of the finest cabernets in the world.

Since 1984, Late for the Sky has created custom -Opoly games such as Orange County's volleyball capital, Huntington Beach; San Diego's outdoor coastal magnet, Encinitas; and Los Angeles' port city, Long Beach. The Cincinnati, OH-based company designs and manufactures all the games in house.

Napa Valley-Opoly is available at Walmart, 681 Lincoln Ave. in Napa for $19.98.
