Napa Water Main Break May Cause Reduced Pressure, Brown Water

Excavation and repairs were continuing after the break on Stanly Lane, the city said.

NAPA, CA — On Tues, October 17th from approximately 10:00 pm until 11:30 pm customers on the west side of town near Foster Road and as far north into Browns Valley may have experienced reduced water pressure due to a leak on the 36-inch transmission main. City of Napa Water Division staff immediately identified and responded to locate and isolate the break on Stanly Lane. Excavation and repairs continue today, and one customer remains out of service.

Customers may experience temporary brown water due to the disruption. If this occurs flush your lines at the exterior hose bib and apply that water to outdoor landscaping.
