Like every other community, Napa County has suffered its share of the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. Throughout the years weβve been roasted by fires, frozen by snowstorms, deluged by floods, and shaken by earthquakes. Yet, with our resourcefulness, ingenuity, and dedicated hard work, we always pull through. After each disaster we have emerged from the rubble, dusted ourselves off, and became better, stronger, and more prepared for the next round.
This winter, weather gets wild with snowstorms, fires, floods, and earthquakes in The History Centerβs newest exhibit, βWeird Weather & Natural Disasters,β opening October 16 at 5:30 pm at the Goodman Library located at 1219 First Street in downtown Napa. See our county battle the elements, and learn about how we romped, played, struggled, and fought against the forces of Mother Nature.
