Police Log: Public Intoxication, Knife in Jail

Napa Police arrest man for multiple charges.

A 59-year-old man found lying in the roadway in Napa was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness, probation violation and bringing a weapon into the jail.

Paul Kirgiogis of Napa was booked into Napa Couty Department of Corrections after he was arrested earlier this week. The specific time and date of his arrest was not immediately available.   

Police said they Kirgiorgis was found at Division Street at Franklin Street in the roadway.

He was intoxicated and in violation of his probation, police said. He was arrested and transported to Napa County Department of Corrections.

A fixed-blade knife was tucked into Kirgiorgis’ sock and discovered during booking. Kirgiorgis was booked for being intoxicated in public, violation of probation and bringing a weapon into a jail.
