PG&E Reminds North Bay Fire Victims Of Bill Relief

Payment assistance and arrangements also are possible.

NORTH BAY, CA – PG&E is reminding customers affected by the Northern California wildfires that they have access to bill relief, payment assistance and help with new or temporary construction of electric service.

PG&E said it temporarily stops bills during a disaster, returns account deposits and will not charge a deposit for up to one year for customers who lost their homes in the wildfires.

Customers who lost property will not face collections for up to one year and PG&E will arrange reasonable payment arrangements.

PG&E suspended billing for customers who lost their homes or businesses since the start of the October wildfires, and will bring their balance to zero for PG&E energy charges associated with customers' lost
property.
