Hundreds turned out for the Women's March in downtown Napa on the morning of Jan. 21, despite rainy conditions.

NAPA VALLEY, CA -- Hundreds turned out for the Women's March in downtown Napa on Saturday morning despite rainy conditions. The participates were young and older, children and kids in strollers and men.

Veteran's Park in downtown Napa was packed, and a crowd also looked on from the Third Street bridge. Many speakers spoke out for women's rights, health care, and for minorities and gender rights.

U.S Representative for California's 5th congressional district Mike Thompson, who has served Napa and Sonoma counties since 1999 spoke at the rally, along with local officials and students who expressed their feelings and concerns now that President Trump has taken office.
