Pumpkin Patch Goes Glass
Yountville's Walker & Bowes Glass Pumpkin Patch opens for previews today through Friday; opening reception is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday.
A preview of this year's Walker & Bowes Glass Pumpkin Patch opens today in Yountville and runs through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
An opening reception will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Yountville Community Center Plaza. The reception will include wine, light bites and an opportunity to mingle with the artists.
The delicate glass pumpkins will be on display from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Sunday at Yountville Community Center Plaza.
The pumpkins will go on sale Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

"Glass pumpkins, gourds, leaves and shells will be on the Yountville Plaza," said Samantha Holland of the Yountville Parks and Recreation Department, event sponsor. "This is a unique opportunity as these artists do not show in this format but four times each year."
