Running, Cycling Events To Impact Napa County Roads This Weekend

Running and cycling events take place on Napa County roads this weekend, but the roads will be open for travel, County Public Works says.

NAPA COUNTY, CA -- A couple of events are coming up this weekend that will affect traffic flow on some Napa County roads however, the roads won't be closed, according to Napa County Public Works.

The events are:

Saturday, May 6, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. -- running event. Participants will run along Freeway Drive and Old Sonoma Rd into Sonoma County. The roads will be open for travel.

Sunday, May 7, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. -- cycling event. Motorists will share the following Napa County roads with the cyclists: Yount Mill, Hwy 29, Hwy 128 (Rutherford Rd), Conn Creek, Skellenger, Dunaweal, Deer Park, Silverado Trail (from Calistoga to Oak Knoll), Oak Knoll & Solano.
