See Smoke In Napa County? Pile Burns Underway At Bothe State Park

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Smoke will be visible from pile burning that was scheduled to start Thursday at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park in Calistoga, county officials said.

In coordination with California State Parks and Napa Firewise, Cal Fire/Napa County Fire is conducting the prescribed burns for the next few days at the 1,991-acre park.

The coordinated effort is meant to reduce the wildfire fuel load for the communities neighboring the state park, Cal Fire said.
