Long Fire In Lake County Burns 100 Acres; Evacuation Advisory For Spring Valley Residents
BREAKING: The fire in the Spring Valley area broke out early Saturday morning.

LAKE COUNTY, CA — A wildfire broke out in the Spring Valley area in Clearlake Oaks early Saturday morning, the Lake County Sheriff's Office said.
The sheriff's office said there is no longer immediate danger to the Spring Valley community and the mandatory evacuation and shelter-in-place orders were both lifted. However, an evacuation advisory is in place for Spring Valley residents and residents located to the west of New Long Valley Road to Highway 53.
An evacuation advisory means residents are advised to gather any medication and important documents and should be prepared to leave the area with little notice. The sheriff's office will issue a mandatory evacuation order if needed.
