β€œAs we emerge out of the pandemic, St. Helena faces important decisions about our future. The business-as-usual approach has led our city to looming financial ruin. We need fresh leadership which unites our community, forms partnerships, solves problems, and restores our city. We have learned a great deal about how strong our community can be and the many needs in our community that need to be addressed. I look forward to helping our community solidify a strong future for the next generation.”

For the past two years, Eric served on the St. Helena City Council and represented St. Helena on the Napa County League of Governments, the League of California Cities, the Napa Valley Tourism Corporation and other boards. He has quickly established solid relationships with other elected officials and community organizations throughout Napa County and the Bay Area. Prior, Eric spent decades serving in leadership positions in private sector small, mid-sized and enterprise organizations. He built a successful track record of leading organizations through periods of change, to add new capabilities, repurpose obsolete assets and find ways to unlock and release value.

An experienced leader, Eric also helped partnerships to improve housing opportunities, retail districts and healthcare facilities throughout Northern California. He worked hard to ensure everyone recognizes the value of diversity and inclusivity in developing healthy communities. Eric has proven that a community can grow in a measured manner that preserves local culture while serving as a gateway to a bright future.

As a father of two and stepfather to three, Eric understands that a strong community helps families and their children achieve their dreams. He advocates that thriving communities are about diversity. A strong community provides an abundance of opportunity for families in education, recreation, and business. Eric has ensured non-profit organizations like the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Equality California, Boys & Girls Clubs, Rotary International, Napa County Farm Bureau, Upvalley Family Centers, Community Action Napa Valley, Hands Across the Valley and others are well positioned to continue their community-centered missions.

Eric Hall stated, β€œMy priorities as Mayor of St. Helena will build upon what we have already started: rebuilding our city’s infrastructure, strengthening our water security, and supporting our local economy. Together, we can ensure our community can fix its roads, protect its local environment, and develop its local economy to ensure all of our diverse residents can live and thrive here.”
