Stolen Hockey Gear Is Returned To 11-Year-Old In Napa
After the theft, opposing players in the Vacaville-area tournament shared their equipment so the SoCal boy could still play in a match.
NAPA-According to a Napa County Facebook post, an 11-year-old travel hockey player from Southern California was reunited with most of his stolen equipment on New Year’s Eve at the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.
The sports gear was apparently recovered as part of a vehicle burglary investigation by the American Canyon Police Department and the Napa County Sheriff’s Office. A suspect was arrested.
The unnamed athlete was recently playing in a tournament in the Vacaville area when his gear was stolen. The opposing team shared their equipment so he could still play in the game.
