Suspect In Brutal Napa Bar Beating Turns Self In, Police Say
Napa PD released video footage of a woman being beaten by two men, with both now in custody. CAUTION: VIDEO IS DISTURBING
NAPA, CA β Both suspects sought in the alleged assault of a woman at a Napa bar are now in custody. Napa resident James Curtis Faulkenberry, 30, surrendered to authorities Thursday night, Napa PD said in an update. His arrest comes after Napa police pleaded with members of the community to come forward if they had information on Faulkenberryβs whereabouts.
ORIGINAL REPORT: Napa police posted a video on Facebook of a woman being assaulted at a local bar earlier this month and are seeking one of the suspects in the case. Two men went into Stone's Sports Bar & Lounge at 1679 W. Imola Ave. and started a fight around 11:20 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, according to police.
One of the suspects in the video is shown punching a woman in the face, knocking her unconscious. The second suspect in the video also attacks the woman and kicks her several times.

The victim suffered facial swelling and went in and out of consciousness, police said.
The video shows two male bar patrons with pool sticks who came out of the bar to the female's aid and were also beaten. Both suspects left before police arrived.

Police identified the first suspect as James Curtis Faulkenberry, 30, and the second suspect as Juan Rojas, 39, both of Napa. Rojas has since turned himself in, police said.
Napa police Detective Garrett Wade said the victim and the suspects did not know each other and they weren't with each other in the bar.
The motive for the assault is still under investigation and Faulkenberry is still at large, Wade said this morning.
There is a warrant for Faulkenberry's arrest. He has tattoos on both arms and neck and is considered dangerous, police said.
