Thousands Still Without Power In Napa County After Atmospheric River

PG&E has already restored power to about 1 million of its customers impacted by the most recent storm.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Nearly 3,000 Pacific Gas and Electric Company customers remained without power late Tuesday afternoon throughout Napa County following a weekend atmospheric river that toppled trees and knocked out power throughout hte North Bay and Bay Area.

At 9:57 a.m. Tuesday, the PG&E website showed almost 3,800 in Napa County were without power. As of 4:27 p.m. Tuesday, there were 2,963 without power. Here are the number of impacted customers by city and the unincorporated areas.

  • American Canyon: morning 1; afternoon 1
  • Calistoga: morning 147; afternoon 23
  • Napa: morning 774; afternoon 823
  • Saint Helena: morning 500; afternoon 157
  • Unincorporated Napa: morning 2,342; afternoon 1,959

PG&E said it has more than 3,000 coworkers assessing damage and working on repairs and restoration. The utility has already restored power to about 1 million of its customers impacted by the most recent storm.
