NAPA VALLEY, CA — Patch reader Ed McGowan sent in this photo taken June 3 of a zucchini blossom. He titled it, "Great day in the garden!"
The edible flower of the zucchini plant, zucchini blossoms are bright yellow in color with striations of white and green and are tasty whether eaten raw or cooked, according to TheSpruceEats.com.
