NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Night repaving work began on East Coast Highway this week, the city said. The work started Sunday, May 12 on East Coast Highway from MacArthur Boulevard to Jamboree Road, with lane closures in place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday nights through Friday mornings. The work is expected to be completed by mid-June, and additional work such as signage and striping will be finished by late June.
