A 22-year-old man was identified today as the motorcyclist who died as a result of crashing into a parked vehicle in Newport Beach, the <a href="http://egov.ocgov.com/ocgov/Sheriff-Coroner%20-%20Sandra%20Hutchens" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Orange County coroner's office </a>reported. Anthony Pantoja, of Newport Beach, was pronounced dead at 9:40 a.m. Friday at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, according to the coroners office. The accident took place about 6:52 p.m. Monday at 2611 Newport Blvd.

Anthony Pantoja, of Newport Beach, was pronounced dead at 9:40 a.m. Friday at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, according to the coroners office. The accident took place about 6:52 p.m. Monday at 2611 Newport Blvd.

Anthony Pantoja died a few days after hitting a parked car on the Balboa Peninsula.
