Man, 27, Killed In 405 Freeway Crash In Huntington Beach
A 27-year-old man was killed Thursday when he drove through a construction site on the 405 Freeway in Huntington Beach.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — Authorities Saturday identified a Costa Mesa man who died in a crash involving construction on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Huntington Beach.
The victim was identified as Spencer Sandridge, 27, according to Supervising Deputy Orange County Coroner Inez Chavez.
Sandridge was at the wheel of a 2012 Dodge south on the freeway about 10:30 p.m. Thursday when he drove through a closed portion of the high- occupancy vehicle lane south of Newland Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A 54-year-old Anaheim man and a 46-year-old Corona man, who were construction workers, were taken to area hospitals to be treated for moderate to major injuries, the CHP said.
The crash shut down all of the southbound lanes through Friday morning.
