Updated: Power Outage in Huntington Beach Restored
An outage affecting a large portion of the city has turned several major intersections dark, according to the HB Police Department.

More than 22,000 Huntington Beach customers lost electricity today, but it was quickly restored.
The outage, which police said resulted in non-operational traffic signals at several major intersections, affected 22,471 customers at its peak, according to Southern California Edison spokesman Robert Villegas.

The power was restored by 1:50 p.m., he said.
The cause of the outage was being investigated, Villegas said.
