Re-Paving Project On Balboa Peninsula Enters Final Phase, City Says

Motorists can expect to see some lane closures as city crews work on the final phase of the project. Here's what to know.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — City contractors will start installing asphalt on Balboa Boulevard from Medina Way to G Street next week, Newport Beach City Manager Grace Leung wrote in a statement.

Residents can expect lane closures and parking restrictions in the area Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Construction on the final phase of the re-paving project is expected to start Monday, April 17. The project is due to be completed by the end of May.
