3 Brush Fires Break Out At Hansen Dam Recreation Area
Firefighters from the Angeles National Forest and the Los Angeles Fire Department are on the scene of multiple spot fires.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Three separate brush fires broke out near the Hansen Dam Recreation Area Wednesday afternoon.
Crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Angeles National Forest are on the scene at 11770 11770 Foothill Boulevard in the Lake View Terrace area, according to LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey.
A helicopter arrived on the scene to make a water drop, Humphrey said shortly before 2 p.m.

No structures are threatened by the blaze, which was reported at 1:14 p.m.
Authorities have not said if arson is suspected. The Hansen Dam Recreation Area is the site of frequent brush fires.
