Fire Damages N. Hollywood House; 1 Man Suffered Smoke Exposure

An electrical problem was deemed the cause of the blaze.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA – A fire sparked by an electrical problem damaged a North Hollywood-area house today and left a man with a minor injury.

Firefighters sent to the 6900 block of Coldwater Canyon Avenue at 10:27 a.m. extinguished the flames in 14 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

A man who suffered "smoke exposure" was examined at the scene, declined medical treatment and is good condition, the fire department reported.
