Motorcyclist Killed in West Huston Collision

There were two riders on the motorcycle, which collided with another vehicle. One died at the scene, the other was taken to the hospital.

A motorcycle rider was killed today in a collision with a vehicle in North Hollywood, authorities said.

The crash was reported in the 10900 block of West Huston Street about 8:30 a.m., said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The motorcycle was carrying two riders, one of whom died at the scene, Stewart said. The other was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
