NoHo Home Wants To Help You Talk About Homelessness With The Kids

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Searching for a way to help teach your kids about homelessness? The NoHo Home Alliance wants to help. The organization will host a youth volunteer info session on February 2, inviting students in the San Fernando Valley and their parents to participate.
"Wondering how to talk with your kids about homelessness?" NoHo Home Alliance wrote in a statement. "Join us on Tuesday, Feb 2 for a community conversation, tailored to kids and families, about homelessness in the valley and how you can get involved!"

Earlier this month, NoHo Home Alliance added an extra day of services after a successful fundraising campaign. The resource center for unhoused residents is now open Monday, Wednesday and Friday offering hygiene services, on-site counselors and case management.
