Pedestrian Struck In Crash That Trapped 2 On Victory Boulevard
The two-vehicle crash left three people with serious injuries, and firefighters freed two men trapped in a car that slammed into a pole.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A two-car crash in the North Hollywood area left several people, including a pedestrian, with traumatic injuries Monday afternoon.
The two-vehicle crash happened at the 11000 block of West Victory Boulevard at the intersection of Vineland Avenue shortly after 1 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
One of the vehicles struck a 22-year-old man before slamming into a traffic light pole, causing it to fall on top of the vehicle and trapping a 26-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, according to a fire department spokesman.

"The pair were freed from their sedan by firefighters," said LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey. All three...patients were taken to a regional trauma center by LAFD Paramedics in serious condition."
The driver of the second vehicle, a 65-year-old woman, suffered only minor injuries and was treated at the scene, according to Humphrey.
