Valley Glen Rubbish Fire Closes Metro G Line

LAFD crews said the flames were being fanned by major winds from the north.

VALLEY GLEN (CBSLA) — Fire crews were dispatched to the scene of a rubbish and vegetation fire Sunday evening in the North Hollywood area.

The fire, which began at around 6:45 p.m. was located near the Metro G (Orange) Line Busway on Fulton Avenue.

LAFD crews on hand reported that the flames were being fanned by 20+ mile per hour winds from the north.
