Woman Killed By Train In North Hollywood

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A woman was struck and killed by a train Wednesday evening in North Hollywood.

The crash occurred at about 5 p.m. at 12201 W. Sherman Way, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Margaret Stewart. The incident shut down the Metrolink tracks in the area during the afternoon rush hour.

According to Stewart, the woman died at the scene.

"There are no injuries reported aboard the train," Stewart said.
