Woman Suspected Of Murder Arrested In North Hollywood
Police arrested a woman in North Hollywood on suspicion of murder in the Dec. 17 death of a woman found dead in her Pasadena condominium.

PASADENA, CA — A 75-year-old woman was found dead inside her Pasadena condominium and a female suspect has been arrested for the suspected homicide, police announced Monday.
The body of Jeri Douglas was discovered about 3:40 p.m. on Dec. 17 in her condo in the 200 block of South Madison Avenue after officers made a forced entry into the residence to complete a welfare check on the woman, Pasadena police Lt. Jessie Carrillo said.
Due to the suspicious nature of the death Pasadena police detectives conducted a homicide investigation, Carrillo said.

On Wednesday, detectives arrested 41-year-old Mary Jean O'Connor in North Hollywood and booked her on a murder charge, Carrillo continued. The motive for this homicide is still unclear and remains under investigation.
O'Connor is being held in lieu of $2 million bail.

She is scheduled to head to Pasadena Superior Court, Dept. D, at 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 15, according to jail records.
