Teacher Charged With Sex Abuse 15 Years Ago

A Chatsworth man charged with sexually abusing four children at Telfair Elementary School in Pacoima had been prosecuted 15 years earlier for molesting a young neighbor, Barbara Jones reports in the Daily News. However, he was allowed to return to the classroom after the trial ended in a hung jury, according to documents and interviews by the newspaper.

was also sued for inappropriate sexual comments to a class at the private Chaminade High School, the Daily News reported. There was a $56,000 payout to settle the case.
