Authorities searched San Fernando Valley waterways following the Friday morning report.
SAN FERNANDO, CA — Following a report of a woman being swept away in the storm-swollen Pacoima Wash, authorities searched but were unable to find anyone in the waterway Friday morning.
The report came in before 11 a.m., when a caller reported a woman wearing all black in the Pacoima Wash in San Fernando. The water was about 3 feet deep and the water was moving the woman at about 25 mph, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
About two hours later, the LAFD reported "after an extensive search of the flood control channel, no victim has been located."
